Mandala Theatre-Nepal, in collaboration with Debate Network Nepal (DNN) and Campaign for Change (CFC) is hosting a three year long project funded by the European Union under Next Generation Nepal’s Youth Programme. Project RANGA (Reclaiming Advocacy through Narratives, Debates, Grassroot Theatre and Arts) adopts a multi‐sectoral creative methodology combining theatre, storytelling, debate, and media to empower Nepali youth, especially marginalized groups.
With the objective of strengthening civil society by empowering Nepali youth (especially marginalized groups) as resilient actors of good governance and inclusive development through theatre, debates, and storytelling, project RANGA is designed as a layered intervention to be implemented across all provinces and have a national-level impact. Its core activities are distributed across three interlinked clusters: performing arts and storytelling, civic debate and discourses, and intersex rights and creative advocacy.
