Mandala Theatre-Nepal is a dynamic group of young theatre artists committed to leveraging the transformative power of theatre for social justice, healing, and public awareness. With a focus on exploring and preserving Nepal’s traditional and indigenous theatrical forms, Mandala has continuously worked to engage diverse communities through innovative theatrical methodologies.
In alignment with the objectives of the “Support to the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (S2GESI)” in the health sector in Nepal project implemented by GIZ and the Government of Nepal, Mandala Theatre-Nepal is implementing a pilot project designed to enhance health awareness and social inclusion among marginalized groups, including women, persons with disabilities, Dalits, people living with HIV/AIDS, and ethnic and religious minorities. Through this project, we aim to contribute significantly to the goals of the S2GESI strategy by fostering awareness, encouraging community action, and celebrating the successes of marginalized groups in accessing quality health services.
Following the successful completion of our pilot phase in Sudur Paschim Province—where participatory theatre and interactive approaches demonstrated strong community engagement and promising outcomes—Mandala Theatre-Nepal is now moving into the follow-up phase of the project. As we expand our activities to strengthen local theatre clubs, deepen community engagement, and enhance outreach across provinces, we require additional dedicated human resources to ensure quality implementation and long-term sustainability.
We warmly invite passionate and qualified individuals to join us in this next phase of transformative theatre work.
Please read below the detailed information about positions and do apply.
