Mandala Theatre-Nepal is going host the 19th edition of THEATRE LAB at the beginning of Baisakh this year. THEATRE LAB is a short-term theatre qualification program being conducted by Mandala Theatre-Nepal for novice theatre learners. It had been launched as the group practice among enthusiast theatre learners and artists for the first time in 2012 by Mandala. As the event got a positive response and became reputed in the field of theatre training, Mandala started the THEATRE LAB as its regular theatre class where novice artists can join and start their career as theatre artist. Since and then, THEATRE LAB has been more play-production oriented and successfully completed its EIGHTEEN seasons.
THEATRE LAB invites participants to explore their theatre-practice through a three month long participatory-based activities, research-based production process and practical conservatoire teaching. With this program, Mandala is committed to produce and promote future artists in theatre field who are equipped to be a driving force of innovation in their chosen career.
