About Mandala Theatre Nepal and Rationale:
Mandala Theatre Nepal is a non-profit cultural organization registered in Nepal, founded, led and managed by a group of young, enthusiastic and dedicated theatre workers of Nepal. It is dedicated to exploring, preserving, promoting, and decentralizing Nepal’s diverse traditional and indigenous theatrical practices. Guided by the vision of creating a society that values cultural diversity, Mandala Theatre Nepal works as an inclusive and collaborative platform for artists, activists, and communities across Nepal. Through theatre productions, training programs, community engagement, and creative collaborations, the organization supports young theatre-makers and promotes innovative artistic practices rooted in Nepali culture and social realities. Mandala Theatre Nepal is committed to using theatre as a medium for dialogue, social justice, political awareness, human rights, and cultural transformation while encouraging creativity, inclusion, leadership, and community participation.
In line with strategy to strengthen its digital presence and communication outreach, Mandala Theatre Nepal is planning to procure consultancy services for redesign, updating, maintenance, and management of its official website for a period of three years (from 2026 through 2029).
Mandala Theatre Nepal invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested and eligible business firms/companies to submit their bids and proposals for the supply of Consultancy Service for Website Maintenance and Digital Content Management of Mandala Theatre Nepal as per the attached Terms of Reference [link ToR].
Required Expertise:
- Registered company/firm with legal authorization to operate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in website development and maintenance.
- Proven experience in managing websites for arts, culture, NGOs, INGOs, or creative organizations.
- Strong expertise in CMS platforms (WordPress or relevant systems).
- Experience in UI/UX design, SEO, and website security.
- Capacity to provide timely technical support and content management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Scope of Work:
The selected business firm/company will be responsible for the following tasks (refer ToR for more details):
- Website Revision and Design Improvement
- Website Maintenance and Technical Support
- Content Management and Updates
- Additional Responsibilities
Service Period:
16 June 2026 to June 15 2029 (three years, subject to satisfactory fulfillment of contractual terms and continuation of funding from the European Union).
Payment Terms:
The payment will be made into through bank transaction after deducting applicable tax.
Requirement Documents:
Interested and eligible business firms/companies who meet above requirements, should submit their bids consisting of following document (refer ToR for more details):
- An Expression of Interest (EOI) letter in its official letter head.
- Duly signed and stamped bid documents
- Copies of Legal documents
- Technical Proposal comprising of:
- Financial Proposal comprising of detailed cost breakdown for
- Portfolio/sample works (at least two)
- Reference from previous clients (if available)
