Mandala Theatre-Nepal invites applications from passionate educators, theatre practitioners, artists, trainers, and creative institutions to collaborate in the implementation of the 3rd Batch of Mandala Drama School (MDS), an 18-month residential theatre training program implemented under the RANGA Project (Reclaiming Advocacy through Narratives, Debates, Grassroots Theatre and Arts) supported by the European Union.
Mandala Drama School is Nepal’s only long-term residential theatre training program. The third batch focuses on nurturing a new generation of playmakers, writers, directors, facilitators, and cultural leaders from all seven provinces of Nepal through intensive practice-based learning, production processes, community engagement, and creative advocacy.
We recognize that theatre education in Nepal has largely evolved through artistic practice and experience. Therefore, we welcome applications from both academically qualified educators and experienced practitioners. We are particularly interested in faculty members who can inspire students to strengthen their reading habits, engage with artistic and academic resources, and connect practical skills with critical reflection.
